Significantly, during FBI: International season 4, Vo helped Mitchell adjust to his new role as the leader of the Fly Team. Her former mentor was impulsive and aggressive, and she worked hard to rein him in.

Vo understood implicitly the demands of the job and how Mitchell’s style would backfire while trying to gain the cooperation of local police. She also knew how to talk Mitchell out of egregiously bad ideas.
