After more than a decade of separation—and a whole lot of emotional tension—Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David are finally back together onscreen.
CBS has officially kicked off filming for NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the highly anticipated spin-off following the fan-favorite agents as they raise their daughter Tali and navigate dangerous new missions across Europe. The first behind-the-scenes images were released this week, and the reaction has been explosive.
In one viral shot, Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are seen walking through the streets of Paris, side by side, their characters clearly more connected than ever before. Another photo shows the couple watching over a young girl—presumably Tali—with protective, loving gazes. The chemistry is undeniable, and fans are eating it up.
“They’ve been apart for too long,” de Pablo told TV Insider. “But this story is about rebuilding trust, rediscovering love, and doing all of that while being chased by enemies from the past.”
Set in Europe, the new series promises a mix of international intrigue, family drama, and the witty, romantic tension that made “Tiva” one of the most beloved ships in NCIS history.
Michael Weatherly added,
“There’s action, there’s espionage—but at its core, it’s a love story. And it’s about how two people come back together when the world is trying to tear them apart.”
NCIS: Tony & Ziva is expected to premiere on Paramount+ in early 2026. But based on the early buzz, it’s already one of the most talked-about shows of the year.
