On her Instagram stories, Theresa posted a quick video of herself, Gerry, and several Golden Bachelor participants having a great time over dinner.
The group all smiled for the camera, clearly having a blast at the big reunion. Theresa even sat next to Leslie Fhima, her rival in the finale for Gerry’s final rose.
Gerry and Theresa were cozied up together, and Susan and Joan also made an appearance in the photo.
Despite the happy faces for the camera, Gerry and Theresa’s relationship might not be as rosy as it appears.
Theresa found her match with Gerry on season 1 of The Golden Bachelor. Since then, she has been juggling her time between her family in New Jersey and Gerry in Indiana.
After losing his wife, Toni Turner, in 2017 to a bacterial infection, Gerry, now retired, bought a fancy house by the lake.
Yet, Theresa’s family commitments have her staying mostly on the East Coast.
Spotted recently in her hometown of Shrewsbury, New Jersey, Theresa continues to work at an office there.
Theresa and Gerry’s Instagram posts might just be their way of showing a strong front to everyone.
A source spilled to Daily Mail that Theresa and Gerry aren’t shacking up together all the time, even after getting hitched on TV.
“[Theresa and Gerry] are still living apart three months after their wedding. The couple is still going strong as they make long-distance work while deciding on a new locale,” the source said.
While they’re not under the same roof yet, Theresa and Gerry are pulling out all the stops to keep their marriage solid as they figure out where to settle down.
But, fans are fretting that this distance could be a bump in the road they might not overcome.
Theresa and Gerry are totally into each other, but their living situations are not ideal for a newly wedded couple.
Gerry’s got his dream pad in Indiana and is super tight with his daughters and their kids.
However, he might have to give a little so Theresa can stay close to her own kids and grandkids.
Theresa, a mom to two and grandma to six, always gushed on The Golden Bachelor about how much she adores her family.
To keep their love going strong, they’ll need to find some middle ground on where to live since they can’t be in two places at once.
