I always had a bad feeling about this character
Sadly not everything can be sunshine and rainbows all the time, even in the Young Sheldon spinoff, and its newest villain seems to make sure that will be the case.
There’s nothing better than having someone to root against a bit in a show, and in this case, viewers of the spinoff will find themselves making daggers at none other than Audrey McAllister, Mandy’s mum.

In an interview with TV Insider about the upcoming Young Sheldon spinoff, Jordan Montana let slip the name of the villain in the upcoming series. He revealed: “There’s a lot of things that come with being a young parent, and Mandy’s mom not being the easiest to deal with.”
Audrey has never been a fan of Georgie and when Mandy became pregnant she kicked her own daughter out of their house, so it sounds like there’s going to be a lot of tension between the three of them.

Other major changes to the spinoff include Mandy’s younger brother Connor being recast for the show. In the original Young Sheldon, Connor was played by actor Joseph Appollinio however he’s been booted out of the spinoff show, and Dougie Baldwin will now be replacing him.
According to TVLine, Connor is described as: “A talented oddball with musical prowess who still lives with his parents. He is coddled by his mother, Audrey, and hassled by his father, Jim, Connor doesn’t fit in — even in his own family.”
