On today’s Young and the Restless (Thursday, October 23, 2025), Nick’s search for answers about Noah’s crash leads him to a meeting with Sienna in Los Angeles, and he’s sure she’s hiding something about the night Noah was run off the road. Back in Genoa City, Phyllis tries to talk her way out of trouble when Cane accuses her of stealing his AI program.
Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Daniel and Tessa admitted their feelings for each other, Mariah’s therapy took a dark turn when Ian appeared, and Nick suspected foul play in Noah’s accident.
Noah’s Hospital
Sharon approaches the nurse and tells her that she saw Noah’s hand twitch. She’s sure it means he’s recovering and he was trying to communicate with her.
The nurse says it’s probably an involuntary muscle spasm and that it’s a good sign that Noah’s situation hasn’t changed.
Sharon gets upset and yells at the nurse that the only sign she’s waiting for is for Noah to wake up and rip his bandages off! She apologizes for yelling.
The nurse promises they’ll do everything they can.
Sharon heads back into Noah’s room and sits at his bedside. She starts reading from “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.” She looks at his still hand and starts crying. She says he has to come back just like Huck and Tom Sawyer.
A Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles
Kyle walks onto the patio and sees Holden and Sienna in an animated conversation.
Claire walks up beside Kyle and says the woman’s name is Sienna, and she’s an old friend of Holden’s. She tells Kyle to leave her alone and go back to Genoa City as she passes and approaches Sienna and Holden’s table.
Nick enters and says hello to Kyle. He didn’t know Kyle was in LA!
Kyle didn’t expect to see Nick there, either. He asks why he’s there.
Nick explains that Noah is in the hospital; it’s touch-and-go. He came by to get a change of clothes and food for Sharon. He sees Holden and says it looks like Claire and Holden made a friend.
Kyle says that Holden and “Sienna Bacall” are old friends, but they weren’t being too friendly before Claire arrived.
Nick can’t believe that Sienna Bacall is there. He heads over to the table and says hello and gives Claire a hug. He tells her that Noah was run off the road and is in an induced coma in the hospital.
Sienna recognizes Nick’s voice. She was the one Nick talked to on Noah’s phone!
Holden looks at her, astonished. “You know Noah?”
Nick wants to talk to her about Noah.
Sienna agrees, and asks him to come with her to the bar. Nick nods, and they head off.
Holden offers to drive Claire around tomorrow.
Claire declines and asks if he knew Sienna for a long time… They seemed to be having an intense conversation before she arrived. Why was Sienna here?
Holden laughs awkwardly and says Sienna really likes the omelets at the hotel.
Phyllis’s Suite at the GCAC
Phyllis is working on her laptop in bed. “I’m a genius!”
There’s a knock at the door, and she answers in her robe. She invites Cane in, and he immediately asks, “What did you do?”
Phyllis asks what he means.
Cane says his tech team told him that “someone” hacked their system and stole or deleted the AI program from their servers. She wouldn’t happen to know anyone with the ability to do that, would she?
Phyllis is shocked… She thought his security was ironclad! Someone would have to be a genius to be able to hack into something so big. Does he have a list of suspects?
Cane nods. He does, and Phyllis is the only one on the list. She has the means, the motive, and the opportunity.
Phyllis beats around the bush, not admitting anything.
Cane says that program meant everything to him, and there are only a few people who could make this happen. He wants her to look him in the eye and tell him that she didn’t steal the program.
Phyllis can’t believe he’s talking to her like this! She stood beside him and gave him support! She’s tried to get him to trust her! She asks if he’s ready to throw away the only real relationship he has in town. How dare he accuse her of stealing from him!
Cane says she’s been very loyal to him, but he doesn’t think their goals are aligned anymore. She wants to go scorched earth on everyone who’s wronged her with his AI. He asks if she has a side project.
Phyllis acts surprised, but doesn’t answer the question.
Cane says he’s only going to ask her this one more time… Did she steal his program?
Phyllis tells him to leave if he wants, but instead of badgering her, they should do something productive like talk about shining up his reputation.
Cane growls. “Phyllis.”
She sighs and says she didn’t steal his AI.
Cane smirks. He’ll just have to take her word for it.
Phyllis says he’s focusing on the wrong person. He has a lot of enemies, and he should look at Victor Newman first. Instead of badgering her, he needs to go after the real culprit.
Cane warns her that if she’s lying to him, she’ll regret it.
Phyllis stares him down. “I have nothing to worry about.”
The Shadow Room
Nick meets Sienna at the bar.
Sienna says she’d like to help Nick with Noah, but she’s not sure how much use she’ll be… She only just met Noah through her husband, Mitch. She says Noah was interested in investing in a club in LA.
Nick says he’s trying to get a feel for what happened before Noah’s crash.
Sienna says it was an accident… Or does he think it was intentional?
Nick tells her that the police told him they had an eyewitness that saw Noah get ran off the road. He asks when she last saw Noah.
Sienna says she last saw him two nights ago; same night as the crash. He left around midnight, alone. He mentioned that it was almost Halloween and needed to leave before he turned into a werewolf.
Nick nods. That sounds like his son! She asks why she called Noah.
Sienna says she wanted to give Noah information about liquor licenses, permits, and suppliers. Her husband, Mitch, had told her to give Noah all the information he needed.
Nick asks why she hung up on him after hearing about Noah.
Sienna says she was freaked out and didn’t know what to say. She knows Nick wants to know if someone intentionally hurt his son, but she doesn’t know. She hopes Noah’s condition improves.
Nick asks if he can have her number so he can update her on Noah’s condition.
Sienna says he already has her number on Noah’s phone, but writes it down for him anyhow. She says she’ll say a prayer for Noah; he’s one of the good guys.
Nick agrees. He tucks her number away and leaves.
Noah’s Hospital
Claire stops by the hospital with Holden and meets Sharon there. She tells Sharon that Nick told her about Noah, and she stopped by to give her support. She introduces Holden to Sharon, who remembers him ordering coffee at Crimson Lights.
Sharon offers to take Claire to Noah’s room, and Holden sits in the waiting room. In the hallway, Sharon says she’s surprised to see Claire with Holden in LA.
Claire says Holden is showing her around LA while she’s there.
They head into the room, and Sharon “introduces” Claire to Noah.
Claire tells an unconscious Noah that she’s glad to meet him, and that she’d like to see him… Maybe even visit him in England! She says her dad lived in England and starts tearing up at the thought of Cole. She tells Sharon that this must be so difficult.
Sharon nods. She says Nick has really helped her through this. She and Nick have weathered many storms and have always come through stronger. There’s something about having one person in your life you can rely on, and her person is Nick.
A bit later, Nick shows up at the hospital and is surprised to see Holden there.
Holden says he drove Claire to the hospital, and she and Sharon are in Noah’s room.
Nick asks what the story is between Holden and Claire.
Holden asks if Nick is “Team Kyle.”
Nick says he’s Team Claire. She’s a Newman, so she’s family!
Holden says they’re just friends. He’s only there to show her around LA.
Nick asks if he showed her The Shadow Room. Was he there the other night? He shows Holden a picture of Noah on his phone and asks him if he saw him there that night.
Holden looks at the picture. He doesn’t remember seeing Noah at the bar.
Nick asks how well he knows Sienna.
Holden says they were friends when he used to live in town… He used to hang out at the club a lot. He remarks that it’s such a small world that Sienna knows Noah, too.
Claire walks in and hugs Nick before leaving the hospital with Holden in tow.
Nick sighs and says there’s not a chance in hell that it’s just “a small world.” He heads into the room to see Sharon and Noah. He thinks it’s nice of Claire to come by.
Sharon agrees. She tells him that she bought Tom Sawyer and started reading it to Noah, and his hand twitched. She told the nurse, but apparently people in comas have involuntary muscle spasms, and they should be happy that Noah’s condition hasn’t changed… But that seemed wrong to her.
Nick says he ran into Sienna Bacall at the hotel. It wasn’t a coincidence, either… She’s a friend of Holden Novak’s.
Sharon asks if Sienna had any idea of what happened to Noah.
Nick says Sienna told him she didn’t know anything, but he thinks she’s hiding something.
The Hotel Cafe Patio
Kyle sits at a table, having just finished his breakfast. He looks up “The Shadow Room” on his phone. He sees that it’s owned by Mitch Bacall and his wife, Sienna. He sees Sienna’s picture, but doesn’t find Mitch’s picture anywhere.
Claire walks up and tells Kyle that she just saw Noah. Seeing her cousin in those bandages broke her heart.
Kyle nods. It must have been tough, because the last time she was in a hospital was to say goodbye to her father; that must have brought up a lot of emotions. He prepares to leave.
Claire asks him to wait and thanks him for the flowers he brought her.
Kyle smiles and says he was hoping that Holden hadn’t gotten her a bigger and better bouquet. He says he’s taking her suggestion to heart and is going back to Genoa City; she doesn’t have to worry about him bothering her anymore!
The Shadow Room
Holden shows up at the club and tells Sienna that there’s something she doesn’t know… The Newmans are a very powerful family, and their reach extends beyond all the way to LA. He warns her that she needs to be careful and asks how well she knows Noah and what she knows about what happened to him.
