Season 7 of Virgin River arrives on Netflix March 12, spotlighting Connecticut native Alexandra Breckenridge in the lead role.
Breckenridge plays Mel Monroe, a nurse practitioner who moves to Virgin River seeking a new beginning after losing her husband in a car accident. The new season sees her stepping into married life once again, beginning her honeymoon with her second husband.
A Bridgeport-born actress who grew up in Darien, Breckenridge has also appeared in American Horror Story, This Is Us, and The Walking Dead.
