After the success of the first film Fifty Shades of Gray – adapted from the novel of the same name – released in theaters last February, investors continue to plan to produce the next two parts. Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed are expected to be released in 2017 and 2018 respectively, also on Valentine’s Day.
In the meantime, fans of both the Fifty Shades books and movies will soon have the opportunity to meet the charming man, Christian Gray in E. L. James’ new creation –
Time magazine reported on June 2 that the female writer officially announced on her personal page that the book on the occasion of ‘Gray Gentleman’ – Christian’s birthday, will be released to readers this summer.
Specifically, E. L. James said the book is called Gray: Fifty Shades of Gray as Told by Christian (roughly translated: Gray: 50 Shades of Gray told by Christian – “The sex-crazy billionaire”) published on June 18.

E. L. James said: “Christian is a complex character, the reader is always fascinated by his desires, his motives, his painful past.”
The creator of Fifty Shades also believes that anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows that each story has the perspective of two people, from two sides. So are Christian Gray and Anastasia.
According to information from Vintage Books, E. L. James wrote the book “dedicated to the readers, those who ask and ask and ask for it.” The writer himself said: “It is a great pleasure to return to writing, with Christian Gray and Anastasia in their universe and working with the wonderful team of Vintage”.
