The show will debut the following day on Hulu for those who prefer to stream the episodes. Originally, the series debuted at 10 PM on Tuesdays, but with the end of the first season of High Potential, Nathan Fillion’s John Nolan and company hit screens one hour earlier.
From the synopsis for Episode 10, it’s unclear who the titular “Chaos Agent” will be. The promo for the episode promises all sorts of challenges for the characters. It will provide the typical balance struck in The Rookie where Nolan, Melissa O’Neil’s Lucy and Alyssa Diaz’s Detective Angela Lopez are out on the streets working a case. However, back at the precinct, Richard T. Jones’s Wade Grey will have a lot to deal with, too.
The tease for “Chaos Agent” shows that a group of unruly prisoners are being held in the Mid-Wilshire police precinct. Things get out of control when a power outage strikes, and a fight between inmates kicks off some bedlam. The promo even shows that fan-favorite character, Quigley Smitty (played by Brent Huff), gets hurt. Why these prisoners are sent to the Mid-Wilshire precinct is just one of the things about this episode that viewers will have to wait until its debut on 9 PM, Tuesday to find out.
