The main couple of the movie “Twilight” – Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson – dated for 4 years before breaking up because of a third person.
According to Page Six, the director of the movie “Twilight” – Ms. Catherine Hardwick – just revealed about Robert Pattison’s birthday party in May.
She asserted that Kristen Stewart “ruined” that party, but the couple’s relationship was not in trouble.
“Weirdly enough, I recently went to Rob’s birthday party. And then Kristen also appeared. That happened just a few months ago. We all hugged each other, it was crazy and wonderful,” director Catherine shared.
That day, Stewart rang the gate bell, and Pattinson invited her into the house. Both director Catherine Hardwick and Stewart arrived at this party unannounced. Therefore, they were very surprised when they met each other.
Kristen and Robert started dating in mid-2009. Four years later, they broke up in May 2013 after Kristen was discovered to be having an affair with director Rupert Sanders.
Director Rupert Sanders and actress Kristen Stewart had a series of adultery photos revealed in a secluded place. They fell in love when Kristen filmed the movie Snow White and the Hunstman directed by Rupert. The scandal caused Rupert to be filed for divorce by his wife, and Kristen was broken up by her then-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson.
For a long time after breaking up, the “Twilight” couple did not see each other. Kristen Stewart once asserted: “Our relationship has been built into a product of the entertainment industry.”
In a new interview with British magazine Esquire, Robert reminded about the old story: “It’s a story of young people, it’s normal.”
At the end of 2008, “Twilight” debuted to the audience and was incredibly successful, reaching a revenue of 3 billion USD globally. The young actors in the film quickly became Hollywood’s new movie stars.
Explaining the reason for being chosen to play Bella, Kristen Stewart convinced the director by revealing that she was raised in a family that raised wolves and the whole family took care of the wolves themselves.
The young actress’ personality and boldness at that time made director Hardwicke excited and curious, deciding to choose her for the role of Bella.
This role later became a turning point in Kristen Stewart’s acting career, helping her become a global phenomenon. Kristen also admitted that her co-star and ex-lover – Robert Pattinson was the perfect match for her right from the first days of participating in the movie.
