In a series packed with long-running characters and explosive storylines, NCIS: Los Angeles occasionally delivered a guest role so sharp it lingered long after the credits rolled. One of those came in Season 4, Episode 9 (“The Gold Standard”), thanks to Cameron Goodman as the elusive Gloria Bryant.
Appearing in just one episode, Goodman made an immediate impression as a woman linked to a high-stakes gold heist—and briefly matched wits with Kensi Blye. What could have been a throwaway role became a standout moment, filled with tension, wit, and just enough vulnerability to suggest a deeper story.
Goodman’s performance shouldn’t have been a surprise. A familiar face across crime TV, she’s appeared in NCIS, Cold Case, CSI: NY, and The Closer, while also branching out into Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, and indie films. Though known for dramatic roles, she’s often said comedy is her true love—a versatility that subtly elevated Gloria Bryant.
