A shameless case of network synergy leads to one of the silliest late-night skits in quite some time.
In the video above, CBS comedian Stephen Colbert enlists the services of Tracker star Justin Hartley when his favorite Late Show coffee mug goes missing. Despite Colbert’s refusal to call him by his first name other than “Tracker,” Hartley drops what he’s doing—he’s about to watch the FBI guys wrestle the NCIS guys!—and leads a chaotic search through the Ed Sullivan Theater. It all culminates in a frantic chase through the studio audience.
Along the way, Colbert channels his inner David Caruso and attempts to revive a classic CSI: Miami meme. Hartley doesn’t like it at first, but eventually comes around.

Premiering Sunday, October 13 at a new time, 8/7c, Tracker Season 2 “follows the strange disappearance of a missing family whose car is found abandoned on the side of a road in the Arkansas woods,” according to the official synopsis. “Along the way, Colter makes “a shocking discovery about his mother’s past that leads him into the world of organized crime.” Meanwhile, Reenie “opens her new law firm and enlists Velma’s help in setting up shop.”
As TVLine first reported, Supergirl and A Million Little Things alum Floriana Lima will return in Season 2 as Camille Picket, “Colter’s on-and-off lover for at least the past 10 years.” We’re told that “her sister went missing 10 years ago and her case was never solved—which causes some trauma for both Camille and Colter on each anniversary of her disappearance, but also allows them to reconnect, at least for one evening.”
In addition to Lima, Matt Long (Manifest) and Lindy Booth (The Librarians) also guest star in the episode, both of whom played key roles in the missing family case mentioned above. above. Enuka Okuma (Rookie Blue) and Ryan Dorsey (Sons of Anarchy) also appear.
