In a recent Instagram post, Theresa showcased a fun and happy video of her trying on different dresses. She smiled as she jumped from one dress to another, enjoying herself in the video. “I’ve always wanted to do one of these videos! So, which dress should I wear to go out to dinner with my friends?” she expressed in her caption.
Theresa seemed to be trying new things, with the support of her friends and viewers. Unlike Gerry, whose reputation took a hit after his time on The Golden Bachelor, it appears that Theresa’s reputation is the only one to survive and thrive through their breakup.

Although Theresa didn’t find love with Gerry, she did find lasting friendships with the other ladies of The Golden Bachelor season 1. After Theresa asked her followers which dress she should choose to wear, a few of the women commented on her post in support. “You go girl! Love the style…I’d chose the red dress. I’m thinking Red or Blue!” These women have persevered and have made everlasting bonds with one another while enjoying their lives away from the cameras.
While Theresa is enjoying her newfound happiness, Gerry has struggled to salvage his damaged reputation. He presented a subdued and calm life as a widow on The Golden Bachelor. However, his lies came back to haunt him when it was discovered he had been in quite a few serious relationships since his wife’s death. This came after Gerry expressed he hadn’t seriously dated since her passing. This lie caused a major hit to Gerry’s reputation and added to the criticism and backlash he already faced. He has failed to turn his image around despite the constant social media postings.
