In an X post, Reality Steve revealed that Chock is 60 years old, and the owner of Insurance Services Group in Wichita, Kansas.
In his column, Reality Steve shared that Chock is divorced and has children with his ex-wife. He was engaged to someone else for a couple of years, until last year, when she unexpectedly passed away due to brain cancer.

Chock’s Backstory Is Very Compelling
Based on Chock’s tragic backstory, he definitely has the potential to become a Golden Bachelorette fan favorite. His fiancée passed away very recently, so he’s surely still dealing with his grief. Joan’s husband, John, passed away in 2021 due to pancreatic cancer after 32 years of marriage, so she’ll definitely be able to relate to him. Fans will most likely root for Chock during the season.
