Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple have been attached at the hip since getting engaged on The Golden Bachelorette, but Joan recently stepped out on her own. There’s more to the 61-year-old private school administrator than her relationship with 60-year-old Chock. The couple came to public prominence when they met on The Golden Bachelorette, but Joan made her television debut on The Golden Bachelor. When things didn’t work out with 72-year-old Gerry Turner, she was announced as The Bachelor spin-off’s first female lead.
Joan opened The Golden Bachelorette season 1 by standing outside the Bachelor mansion greeting a fleet of limousines carrying her 24 single Golden men. Among the impressive divorcees and widowers was Chock, an insurance executive from Kansas. Joan gave Chock her first solo date and her last solo date, which came with her final rose. In turn, he gave her a diamond ring. The engaged couple has been together constantly ever since, but Joan recently stepped out on her own.

He recently attended a Kansas Chiefs football game with several other cast members from The Golden Bachelorette season 1. Among the familiar faces were 62-year-old Keith Gordon, 61-year-old Jordan Heller, and 60-year-old Gil Ramirez. Though Chock seemed to have a great time at the game, he probably couldn’t wait to get back to The Golden Bachelorette. As the old saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
