The Golden Bachelor viewers shocked after 70-year-old contestant shows her ‘birthday suit’
One contestant on Gerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor made an extremely memorable first impression by showing her “birthday suit.”
Fans tuning in to ABC’s The Golden Bachelor might have thought that they would see a much more tamed down version of the usual Bachelor and Bachelorette antics. But one contestant certainly took them by surprise during her introduction to Gerry Turner.
As the women came out of the limos to meet Gerry, many attempted to make sure they made a memorable first impression, something that typically happens on the show.
However, Theresa, 70, certainly made her intro one to remember, as she sauntered out of the limo in a black robe.
After reaching Gerry, she announced it was her birthday and she thought she should come in her “birthday suit” as a result. She then proceeded to pull the robe off and seemingly flash him.
Of course, she revealed a nude-colored short bodysuit, before changing into a gold sequined gown inside the mansion.
During her one-on-one time with Gerry, Theresa did receive a gift from him of a cupcake with candles, and after he took a bite, the two shared a few passionate kisses.
However, it did not work to earn her the First Impression Rose, which went to Faith, a 60-year-old high school teacher from Washington who not only made a grand entrance on a motorcycle, but also played the guitar and sang Gerry a song.
The two also shared some kisses after Gerry presented her with the rose, which the other women saw and expressed jealousy over.
While Theresa’s stunt didn’t get her the First Impression Rose, she did still receive one and is moving on to the next week of the competition.
Other women with notable entrances also received roses at the end of the night.
They included Sandra, 75, from Georgia, who had a “zen” moment with Gerry and dropped F-bombs during it; Leslie, 64, from Minnesota, who came out originally in a wig and nightgown with a walker and also claimed that Prince’s song Sexy Dancer was about her; and April, 65, from Florida, who came with a basket of eggs and did a chicken dance.
