“The Final Mission: NCIS: LA Bids Farewell After 14 Seasons”

After 14 action-packed seasons, NCIS: Los Angeles is closing the case for good. CBS has officially announced that the fan-favorite crime drama will end its run this spring, with its series finale scheduled for Sunday, May 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

🛑 The Final Chapter

“For 14 seasons, NCIS: Los Angeles has been a stalwart of our lineup with characters who were a joy to watch,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “From day one, the cast, producers, and crew were amazing partners. Their teamwork and talent vividly came through on screen.”

With a staggering 322 episodes under its belt, the West Coast spin-off of the global NCIS franchise made its debut on September 22, 2009, and quickly became a primetime staple.

🎭 A Tribute to the Team

Showrunner R. Scott Gemmill reflected on the journey with heartfelt gratitude:

“Our crew has grown to be a true family. My deepest gratitude to the cast members, who brought our characters to life with impassioned performances… And to our loyal viewers — thank you. We look forward to delivering an end to the series that does justice to these beloved characters.”

The cast includes Chris O’Donnell, LL Cool J, Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Medalion Rahimi, Caleb Castille, and Gerald McRaney, portraying elite agents taking on dangerous missions with undercover finesse and cutting-edge tech.

🎤 LL Cool J: “Ending on Top of Our Game”

Though his Instagram post was later deleted, LL Cool J celebrated the milestone:

“After 14 seasons, this is the perfect time to end NCIS: LA on top of our game! More exciting announcements and dates ahead!”

Fans are already speculating if the actor has something new lined up — or if his character Sam Hanna could appear again in the larger NCIS universe.

💫 A Legacy That Lives On

NCIS: Los Angeles not only thrilled viewers with its pulse-pounding missions and high-stakes drama but also became known for its deep character relationships and emotional storytelling. As the sun sets on the City of Angels, the series leaves behind a lasting legacy.

CBS promises a sendoff worthy of the team’s 14-year run — and fans wouldn’t expect anything less.
