“The Final Chapter”: NCIS Star Katrina Law Ends 12-Year Marriage to Keith Andreen Amid Quiet Heartbreak

In Hollywood, love stories often start on set — and sometimes, they end there too. For NCIS star Katrina Law, 39, the latest chapter of her life is not a role, but a reality: the actress has officially filed for divorce from her husband of more than 12 years, actor Keith Andreen, 50.

According to court documents obtained in Los Angeles, Law filed on August 11, citing the familiar yet devastating phrase “irreconcilable differences.” She listed July 7 as the couple’s date of separation, marking the quiet end of a relationship that once charmed both colleagues and fans alike.

A Love Story Born on Screen

Law and Andreen’s romance began in the trenches of indie television. The pair met while working on the 2010 web series The Resistance, and their on-screen chemistry quickly sparked an off-screen romance. By January 2013, the two had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by friends, family, and the kind of optimism that only comes with a new beginning.

They didn’t just share a home — they often shared the screen. In 2013, the couple co-starred in the Hallmark holiday movie Snow Bride, playing out a picture-perfect romance for millions of viewers.

From Red Carpets to Parenthood

Over the years, Law and Andreen became fixtures on red carpets, from Stan Lee’s Comikaze in 2013 to the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s glamorous Academy Awards Viewing Party in 2022. Yet their most cherished role came in December 2018, when they welcomed their daughter, Kinley Malika.

Now six years old, Kinley remains the center of both their worlds. In her divorce filing, Law is seeking primary physical custody and joint legal custody, with visitation details still to be determined. She has also requested that spousal support be terminated for both parties, each responsible for their own legal fees.

Signs of Distance

While no public scandal preceded the split, signs of a growing distance had quietly surfaced online. Neither Law nor Andreen had appeared on each other’s Instagram accounts in years. The last glimpse came on New Year’s Eve 2021, when Law posted a slideshow of family photos, captioned: “Bye bye 2021. Through all the crazy, thank you for the beautiful.” She tagged Andreen, though he has since been absent from her feed.

Now, their once-intertwined digital lives are fully separate — a symbolic echo of their real-world parting.

Katrina Law’s Hollywood Journey

Best known today as the sharp and fearless Jessica Knight on NCIS — a role she took on in Season 18 — Law has built a career defined by versatility. She’s been a warrior in Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a detective in Training Day, and a soldier in Hawaii Five-0. In 2022, she even took Jessica Knight on a crossover mission to NCIS: Hawai’i.

Off screen, Law’s career momentum has only accelerated in recent years, making her one of the most recognizable faces in procedural television.

The Road Ahead

As for what comes next, neither Law nor Andreen has commented publicly on the divorce. Friends close to the couple describe the split as amicable, with a shared commitment to co-parenting their daughter.

Hollywood marriages are often lived in the spotlight, but endings — even quiet ones — carry their own gravity. For fans of NCIS, the news is a reminder that the people behind the characters face their own twists, turns, and cliffhangers.

For now, Katrina Law’s story moves forward — not as Jessica Knight, not as the co-star in a holiday romance, but as a woman starting a new chapter, one she will write on her own terms.
