The film world is shocked by the news of John Boyd’s passing at the age of 44 md20

Originally, we were prepared to welcome all of our favorite shows once the Winter Olympics finished its run on Sunday, Feb. 22. However, not all programming will return to normal once it is time for normal programming to begin. But are there any shows returning in February, like FBI?

The NCIS shows have been impacted with scheduling changes, originally set to air on Tuesday, Feb. 24, after a surprising NCIS midseason finale saw the return of a former cast member. However, now the shows will be returning in March.

This scheduling is due to the State of the Union address that is set to be held on Tuesday, Feb. 24, meaning all of the networks won’t be airing new episodes, which includes CBS. But does this mean Monday night will be affected?

Is FBI still returning in February on CBS?

So far, it appears FBI is still slated to air a new episode on Monday, Feb. 23. When we last saw the team, they were going after a group that took part in a domestic terror attack that injured Assistant SAC Jubal Valentine’s son, Tyler. Thankfully, it appears his son made it through and will recover from his injuries.

At this time, not much information is known about the newest episode and what will happen when the show returns. However, some of the main cast members told TV Insider some fun tidbits about what they had coming up.

Missy Peregym revealed that viewers will see more of her relationship with her sister, Erin, who was last seen during FBI season 5. The sisters have had a rift since they last saw each other, and Peregrym said for Maggie that she feels “awful about the fact that I think it’s my fault because I didn’t handle a situation well.”

As for another relationship that may soon to see rifts involved, we will also see John Boyd’s Stuart Scola and Juliana Aidén Martinez’s Eva Ramos face some uneasiness in their work relationship. Martinez likened it to trust needing to be established, something we saw Ramos need since her former partner was revealed to be part of a terrorist group that attacked the field office and nearly killed Isobel Castillo.

Alana De La Garza teased plenty of excitement when the show returns, in addition to more tidbits being revealed about Castillo’s marriage to her husband Phillip (Tom Cavanagh). In other words, FBI fans will have plenty to look forward to once the show returns.

Plus, the spin-off series CIA will premiere the same night as the midseason of FBI returns on Monday, Feb 23. The episode will not only introduce us to Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss in their roles as CIA case officer Colin Glass and FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman, but TVLine confirms that it will also have an appearance from FBI‘s Jubal Valentine. As the Assistant Special Agent in Charge, it makes sense that actor Jeremy Sisto would make an appearance since he did so for the other FBI spinoffs before their cancellations.

New episodes of FBI will be available beginning Monday, Feb 23 at 9/8c on CBS. You can catch up on previous episodes of the season on Paramount+.
