Lance Barber is set to reprise his role as George Cooper Sr. in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 2, Episode 18, TVLine has confirmed. The appearance marks Barber’s second guest stint on the Young Sheldon spin-off.
Joining him are several familiar faces from Young Sheldon, including Zoe Perry (Mary), Raegan Revord (Missy), and Doc Farrow (Coach Wilkins). Rex Linn will also appear, making his Georgie & Mandy debut as Principal Petersen. Matthew Letscher is slated to guest-star as Fred Fagenbacher.
Episode 18 is expected to air in late spring, though details about George Sr.’s return—whether via dream or flashback—are being kept under wraps.
