Kaley Cuoco has worked with countless co-stars throughout her career — but there’s one connection that has never faded.
During a February appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the actress revealed she still talks to Johnny Galecki “all the time,” despite The Big Bang Theory ending back in 2019.
While there may not be an active cast group chat, Cuoco confirmed she and Galecki remain in frequent contact — a reflection of a relationship built on trust, history, and mutual respect.
The pair dated privately for nearly two years while starring as Penny and Leonard, choosing to keep their romance out of the public eye to protect the show’s central love story. Cuoco later admitted she developed strong feelings for Galecki early on, calling the situation “trouble” once she realized the attraction was mutual.
Their breakup, however, was notably drama-free. Cuoco has said they simply ran out of things to talk about after working together so closely — and that there was “no foul play.”
What followed was a genuine friendship.
In a 2022 interview featured in The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story, Galecki shared how deeply he values his relationship with Cuoco, describing it as one of the most meaningful bonds in his life.
Today, Cuoco is engaged to actor Tom Pelphrey and is a mother, while still speaking fondly about her time on the series that changed everything. She recently hinted that Penny could return in a future spin-off, reminding fans just how much the character — and the relationships behind it — still matter.
