Taylor Kinney Goes Shirtless in Chicago Fire BTS Photos – And Fans Are Loving It!

A possible sneak peek at what Severide will be up to next week?

Severide, your domestic side is showing. A crew member on Chicago Fire just posted a sneak peak behind the scenes of Season 13, Episode 12 (“Relief Cut”) — airing Wednesday, February 19 — showing star Taylor Kinney shirtless and cooking (well, acting) on set.

A fresh, homemade breakfast? Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) is one lucky lady.

Taylor Kinney cooks and golfs on the set of Chicago Fire

“Last shots of 13×12 @nbconechicago,” gaffer Anthony Lullo captioned a series of photos posted on February 5. The behind-the-scenes snaps show Kinney making a snack and playing with a golf club while conferring with other actors, as well as some moments between takes captured on the set of Molly’s Bar, out on the streets, at the station, and one picture at the end of Captain Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) looking oh so skeptical about something.

In real life, Kinney’s go-to breakfast doesn’t require cooking at all. In a 2023 video featuring many NBC fan-favorites discussing morning routines, Kinney revealed he likes, “two chocolate Oreos and two vanilla Oreos. And I usually don’t mess with them too much, but I dunk them in whole milk.” He added, “Dunk the Oreos, bing-bam-boom, breakfast — out the door, I’m ready for the day.” Need to try it ASAP.

Kinney is at ease the set of Chicago Fire

There’s a reason Kinney seems so chill behind the scenes. “This is home,” Kinney told TODAY of Chicago. “Times have changed, and the city has changed, and people have grown… The city has been good to me. I love the city. I’ve gotten to know it through my work.”

“It’s never lost on me how special it is to be a part of something with the longevity this has,” Kinney added to Us Weekly in May 2022. “It’s a testament to [show creator] Dick Wolf and the team of people he puts together.” Kinney’s even been known to sing and dance — with his mouth full! — while at work.

In fact, Chicago Fire is known as the rowdiest set in the One Chicago franchise, a testament to the close bond between the cast and crew. “When you go to Med’s set, it’s like a sophisticated dinner party…Then you go to P.D., and they’re a little rougher…And then you go to Fire, and it’s a circus. I mean, truly, we’re loud, we’re laughing, very much like a firehouse,” Mayo revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Watch Chicago Fire on NBC Wednesdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock.
