SWAT Season 7: Uncertain Future for Lina Esco’s Return

Esco’s character, Christina “Chris” Alonso, was a groundbreaking figure on SWAT, recognized as the first female officer on the team and a skilled sniper. Her storyline delved into significant personal challenges, including the trauma of her mother’s death and a harrowing past involving a gang kidnapping. Chris’s exit in Season 5 came when she chose to leave the LAPD to aid undocumented immigrant girls seeking asylum.
