Season 1 stars from The Golden Bachelor, Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts, recently made waves as they shared their thoughts on potential romantic connections that could be forming after the show’s conclusion.
The dynamic duo of Susan and Kathy, also hosts of the popular Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast, attended the After the Final Rose celebration for Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple. The event was a jubilant affair, with fans and contestants coming together to celebrate the couple’s journey. The hosts had plenty to share about the experience and the possibility of new “Golden” relationships emerging.
A Picture-Perfect Celebration
Susan recalled the event’s grandeur, particularly the stunning staircase leading up to the private room, which set the tone for the festivities. “This place, people, was over-the-top perfection! It was grand. How about the staircase going up to the private room? Oh, my goodness, it was beautiful,” she said, clearly impressed. Kathy agreed, adding, “It was so much fun. It was really a super party.”
Sparks Flying Between Edith and Dan
While at the party, the two hosts spotted some interesting interactions between their fellow Golden Bachelor contestants. Kathy revealed a playful moment between Edith Aguirre and Dan Roemer, where Edith appeared to have caught Dan’s attention. “Let’s talk about some of the Golden women that were there to meet some of the Golden men… Edith was having a good ol’ time with Dan. Dan, if you’re listening, you were like a deer in headlights. We hope you had fun. We were loving watching it,” Kathy shared.
Susan chimed in with a bit of playful teasing, admitting that she had to interrupt their moment to say hello. “I had to go up and interrupt them for a second, like, just to see him for a minute,” she said with a laugh.
The Search for New ‘Golden’ Couples Continues
The podcast hosts promised their listeners they would keep an eye on any budding romances and update them on potential Golden couples. Kathy jokingly assured that they would continue “keeping our nose to the grindstone” to gather any new gossip from the event.
Susan and Jack Lencioni: A Friendship, Not a Romance
One of the most anticipated moments for fans was when Susan finally met Jack Lencioni, a man Bachelor Nation had speculated might be a great match for her. However, Kathy wasn’t so sure about the compatibility between Susan and Jack, noting that their larger-than-life personalities might not mesh in a romantic way. “Susan and Jack, I don’t know. I don’t think it could work, Susan. You two are too much alike in the sense that you’re both bigger than life and fun, but I don’t think it’s gonna work,” Kathy commented.
Susan was quick to clarify her position on Jack, admitting that while she sees him as a great person, she only views him as a friend. “Yeah, definitely in the friend zone. But a nice person, he’s a nice person,” she said with a smile.
