Some fans, of course, are looking to know Cal’s midi-chlorian count because a person’s midi-chlorian count says a lot about their potential in the Force. So, what is Cal Kestis’ midi-chlorian count?
Cal Kestis’ midi-chlorian count is unknown, but we can speculate that it should be somewhere higher than 10,000 because he is stronger than the average Jedi. But we also know that he is far weaker than Darth Vader. That would mean that he is somewhere between 10,000 to 13,000.

First introduced during the events of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, midi-chlorians are microscopic organisms found within all living beings in the universe of Star Wars. Midi-chlorians are the organisms that allow the Force to dwell through living beings. However, those with high midi-chlorian counts are the ones that can use the power of the Force.
That means that those with higher midi-chlorian counts are the ones that have more potential in terms of their overall capabilities as Force users. And one of the characters that Star Wars fans have been able to enjoy when it comes to his ability to use the Force is Cal Kestis, who is the playable protagonist of the Star Wars Jedi video game series.
But while it may be fun using Cal Kestis and his ability to use the Force, the one thing that we know about him is that his midi-chlorian count was never explored in any of the video games. None of the creators of the game also commented about his midi-chlorian count. And that’s because, ever since the Disney acquisition, the midi-chlorian concept hasn’t been used much as it has become an afterthought.

It took a while for him to re-learn all of the Jedi basics that were taught to him by Jedi Master Jaro Tapal when he was just 13 years old. But after he remembered his training in Fallen Order, he became strong enough to be a legitimate threat to the Empire.
During the Empire’s reign, Darth Vader formed the Inquisitorius, a group of fallen Jedi and dark-side Force users that acted as Inquisitors. These Inquisitors scoured the galaxy to look for any Jedi that survived the events of Order 66. And the Inquisitors were able to kill a lot of Jedi Knights and Masters.
However, in the Star Wars Jedi video games, Cal Kestis defeated two powerful Inquisitors, the Second Sister, and the Ninth Sister. These Inquisitors were powerful enough to take down their own fair share of Jedi Knights. In Fallen Order, Cal also defeated a fallen Jedi Master named Taron Malicos, albeit with the help of the Nightsister named Merrin.
Then, in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cal Kestis went up against a Jedi Knight from the High Republic, often considered the era when the Jedi Order was at its peak. That means that the Jedi during this era were very strong. However, Cal defeated Dagan Gera, a talented Jedi Knight from the High Republic, even though the fallen Jedi only had one arm. But Cal also defeated a Gen’Dai named Rayvis, who said that it took a lot of Jedi for him to get captured centuries ago, says a lot about Cal’s talents.

In that regard, Cal Kestis is undoubtedly stronger than the average Jedi because he is capable of defeating talented Jedi Knights and Masters that are also quite powerful in their own right. That is why there’s a good chance that his midi-chlorian count is higher than the average Jedi’s midi-chlorian count.
According to Star Wars: Graphics, which is now in the Legends storyline of Star Wars, a person must have a midi-chlorian count of around 7,000 to be considered talented enough to train in the ways of the Force. Meanwhile, the average Jedi has a midi-chlorian count of around 10,000.

But Cal Was Far Weaker Than Anakin
But while Cal Kestis was stronger than the average Jedi, he wasn’t up to par with some of the world’s big fish of Star Wars. That is why he doesn’t have the same midi-chlorian count as Yoda, Palpatine, Mace Windu, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is possibly not as strong as Ahsoka Tano, who was strong enough to give Darth Vader some problems in their Star Wars: Rebels duel.
That would mean that Cal Kestis’ midi-chlorian count pales compared to Darth Vader’s own midi-chlorian count. That would mean that Cal may be strong, but he isn’t up to par with the stronger characters in Star Wars as he doesn’t hold a candle to Darth Vader. As such, his midi-chlorian count should be lower than Anakin, Luke, Yoda, Palpatine, Mace Windu, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, among others, but higher than the average Jedi Knights during the time of the Clone Wars.
