The FBI franchise fans got some bad news in March from CBS. FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted both got canceled and are set to air their final episodes soon.
FBI: International was created by franchise creator Dick Wolf, and premiered in September 2021. Throughout the seasons, there have been many characters, most of them switching from recurring to guest or main roles. However, two actors remained a constant: Carter Redwood, who plays Andre Raines, and Vinessa Vidotto, who plays Cameron Vo. Both appeared in 78 episodes.
I was asking ‘will they won’t they’ more than anyone!
The other person with most appearances was Eva-Jane Willis, who played Megan “Smitty” Garettson after joining in Season 2. In her farewell message, Willis showed her appreciation for her co-stars with a sweet message.
Willis continued, “It has been an honour to watch them and learn from them. My favourite duo: and trust me I was asking ‘will they won’t they’ more than anyone!” she continued about the special relationship between the two leads. “A special round of applause for them – my dear friends. Lots more posts to come to say thank you to all the people that made this such a special experience but for now: it’s Raines and Vo.” She ended the message with a red heart emoji, tagging the official Instagram page of the franchise and sharing a hashtag for the show.
Redwood shared his own appreciation for the show, and his favorite co-star: Green, the dog who plays Tank. He shared a video of him and Green, adding, “4 yrs of hanging out with this guy.”
The FBI Franchise Continues
The police procedural franchise began with the TV series FBI in 2018. It has since expanded with multiple spin-offs. FBI: Most Wanted premiered in 2020, and FBI: International followed one year later. There are more plans for the franchise, despite the fact that CBS axed two shows this March.
