It was another team challenge on MasterChef: Dynamic Duos on Wednesday night – in fact, it was the final team challenge — when Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Tiffany Derry took the remaining six duos out into the MasterChef garden for the all-new “Backyard BBQ” episode.
Split into the Red Team and the Blue Team, the duos had to serve a garden full of BBQ aficionados. Since Adam & Joel won the last challenge, they had the advantage of selecting their team. They picked Julio & Rachel and Zach & Michelle, who they considered the strongest contestants, to join them as part of the Red Team and they served as captains.
That means the Blue Team was composed of Azu & Javier, Jessica & Jesse, and Tina & Aivan. Tina & Aivan volunteered to be the captains. The losing team as chosen by the judges will go into a pressure test next week, where one couple will be eliminated in the all-new “Backyard BBQ” episode.

Next week, the Red Team will face the pressure test, which will consist of making a three-course meal for a triple-threat challenge.
