During a recent appearance on FOX 5’s Good Day New York, Virgin River star Benjamin Hollingsworth announced that the seventh season would arrive in March 2026, which has been confirmed by Netflix. “To be the longest-running show is such a blessing. I love my character, I have such an attachment to Brady,” Hollingsworth said of his former Marine character. But what does the upcoming outing look like for Brady? Hollingsworth teased, “Brady left off having no money in his bank account. He’s now broke (again) and Brie, his love, his new first true real love, has now been proposed to with Mike with a plastic cap bottle cap ring out of nowhere.” He added:
“So it’s a lot of cliffhangers. He’s going to hunt down that money and find his ex-girlfriend, and he’s also going to navigate whether he can get back with Brie.”
‘Virgin River’ Fans Will Have Gone an Entire Calendar Year Without Their Favorite Comfort Show
Ever since 2019, Virgin River has been a constant in the annual cycle on Netflix. Seasons 1 and 2 debuted at the end of 2019 and 2020, respectively, with the pandemic unable to stop Seasons 3 and 4 from arriving in the summer of 2021 and 2022, respectively. With Season 5 and Season 6 coming in the following two years, everything seemed perfectly aligned for Virgin River to return for its seventh outing in 2025. Alas, it now seems that fans will have to go an entire calendar year without their favorite comfort show, as Virgin River returns instead in 2026.
