Sheriff Country Cast Revealed: Meet the Faces of Fire Country’s Spin-Off md11

CBS has officially pulled back the curtain on the cast of Sheriff Country, the highly anticipated spin-off of Fire Country. While the original series focuses on the dangerous world of wildfire crews in California, this new chapter shifts the spotlight to law enforcement, crime, and family drama in the same small town of Edgewater.

At the center of the story is Morena Baccarin as Sheriff Mickey Fox, a strong-willed and principled law officer who is determined to protect her community despite the shadows of her own complicated past. Standing opposite her is W. Earl Brown as Wes Fox, Mickey’s father, whose rebellious and outlaw lifestyle often collides with her dedication to the law. Adding to the tension is Christopher Gorham as Travis, Mickey’s ex-husband and the father of her daughter, Skye, played by Amanda Arcuri. Their fractured family dynamic promises to be one of the emotional pillars of the series.

The sheriff’s department itself brings new layers to the drama. Matt Lauria joins as Boone, Mickey’s sharp and tough deputy partner, whose methods and outlook on policing sometimes clash with her own. Michele Weaver steps into the role of Cassidy, a younger deputy who looks up to Mickey but must learn to carve out her own identity in the sheriff’s office. Meanwhile, Caroline Rhea adds a lighter but essential presence as Gina, the sheriff’s trusted assistant who keeps the department running smoothly.

Fans of Fire Country will also be thrilled to know that Max Thieriot is set to make a guest appearance as Bode Donovan, tying the two series together and solidifying this growing television universe.

With a blend of high-stakes investigations, family conflicts, and deep character exploration, Sheriff Country is poised to expand the world of Fire Country in bold new directions. The series is set to premiere on October 17, 2025, airing right after the Season 4 premiere of Fire Country.
