Season Three of Tracker Is Here—And It’s About to Blow Your Mind!

Following the bomb that dropped in the final moments of season two, Colter is going to have a lot of questions for his mother. Reid was quick to point out that while Mary asked Otto for “help,” she didn’t necessarily ask him to kill Ashton, but one thing is certain: she knew it wasn’t Russell. Mary let Colter believe that Russell had been involved in their father’s death, knowing full well it was Otto. Reid teased that in addition to bringing back Wendy Crewson as Mary Shaw, “we’re going to see the other family too, like his brother and his sister, and get to see what they think about what he’s learned.”

Tracker fans, buckle up—because Season Three is not just another chapter in the gripping series. It’s a full-on rollercoaster of suspense, emotion, and edge-of-your-seat twists. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just getting curious, this deep dive will tell you everything you need to know—without spoiling the ride. Let’s break it all down—from new characters to shocking plot developments—and what it means for the future of the series.

There is still a lot to unpack about Ashton’s death, but one thing audiences learned was that it doesn’t appear to have anything to do with the mysterious government work with which he was involved. When speaking with TV Line, Reid addressed the government conspiracy angle, saying, “We’re going to start to unravel that a little bit as far as the Ashton character goes, and I think that will bring in a fun cast of characters. I don’t know if there’s an easy answer, and I’m hoping in the third season… to have a storyline that [reveals] a little bit of what his father may have been involved in.” Reid hinted that that story may involve Russell if they “can steal Jensen away.”

The showrunner also confirmed that Randy will be back for season three, and commented on what viewers can expect from Fiona Rene’s Reenie, saying, “I think where we find her in the beginning of the season is questioning what she does, and, maybe, try to build some safety nets around her. We’re going to build up that world significantly, I think, in Season 3, so there’s going to be some fun stuff coming with her.” Reid added that Rene is excited about expanding Reenie’s character and wants to fill out those worlds, making Bobby, Velma, Reenie, and Randy more than just a resource for Colter.

Plenty—and we’re just scratching the surface. Tracker Season 3 delivers a wild, emotional, unforgettable ride that proves this show still has gas in the tank. So, what else is in store? Probably things we can’t even guess. And that’s what makes it so freaking great.
