Season 6 of “Virgin River” is preparing a real bombshell for Charmaine. What awaits the most disliked heroine?
Charmaine is one of the less liked characters in “Virgin River”, but there is no denying that she has also gone through difficult times. The showrunner says that this is not the end of the troubles in the heroine’s life.
This is not the end of the dramas in the town of Virgin River. After weeks of silence, Netflix officially ordered two more seasons at once. The previous series left us with many unknowns. Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley) also had a hard time. The showrunner of the series, Sue Tanney, said a few words about the heroine’s storyline during a conversation with Entertainment Weekly.
Virgin River season 4 — what awaits Charmaine?
Let us recall — Charmaine is pregnant with twins with Jack (Martin Henderson). In season 3, we learned that the heroine married Todd (Patrick Sabongui) after only a month of knowing each other. The man has been manipulating Charmaine from the beginning — he forced her, among other things. to move and wants to completely exclude Jack from the lives of the unborn twins.
There is also no shortage of fan theories about Jack not being the father of the children. Viewers have a new candidate. One thing is for sure – there will be no shortage of turmoil in the heroine’s life, as emphasized by the showrunner of the series:
– Charmaine is a wonderfully complex character with whom you can identify. We’ve all loved someone who didn’t reciprocate our love. She will always be in love with [Jack], but she does everything in her power to move forward. And suddenly she has a husband. We have a pretty big bombshell for her “that will appear in the next season (…) and will surprise everyone.
Cheat Sheet speculates that this bombshell may be a divorce from Todd. It may also turn out that Charmaine’s new husband is Brie’s ex – according to one of the many fan theories. We will have to wait for the answers. We will most likely wait to watch the 4th season of “Virgin River” around the summer of 2022.
