‘SEAL Team’ Welcomes ‘A New Era of Warfare’ in Season Finale Trailer
“SEAL Team” is coming out with a bang as the first trailer for the final season promises to delve into “a new era of war.” The action-packed drama returns for its seventh season on Paramount+ on Aug. 11. The trailer begins with Jason Hayes, aka Bravo, (David Boreanaz) waking up in a PTSD-induced panic. “I was just like you, kid,” Jason says in voiceover. As he continues, the trailer switches between haunting moments from previous seasons and images of actual blood on his hands. “I don’t want to fight anymore. I’ve evolved. So has the violence — not just the violence I endure, but the violence I inflict.”

As Bravo is at the height of his self-loathing, “SEAL Team” reveals that he and his team will be sent on another mission. Though the trailer doesn’t explain why, the mission promises to be unlike anything they’ve ever experienced before.

“Operations like this are the next era of warfare—invisible tactics with global consequences. Evolve or get left behind,” says Lisa Davis (Toni Trucks). Watch the full trailer above.

The final installment of the action-drama follows Jason as he continues to balance his career with his responsibilities as a single father. Meanwhile, his team faces some big questions of their own. His second-in-command, Ray Perry (Neil Brown Jr.), wonders if he should leave the field as he nears retirement; Sonny Quinn (A.J. Buckley) must learn to take on more responsibility as Jason and Ray continue to shift focus; and both Omar Hamza (Raffi Barsoumian) and Drew Franklin (Beau Knapp) must find a way to balance their work with past traumas. Things get even more chaotic when Lieutenant Lisa Davis seriously recruits Bravo Team for a new mission.

“Separated from their loved ones at the drop of a hat for a global deployment, Bravo Team remains dedicated to their mission. Even in the face of overwhelming odds, they know it is the price they must pay to keep their families safe,” a press release for the new season reads.

The first two episodes of the 10-episode drama will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on August 11 in the United States. New episodes will then debut on Sundays. The new season will also premiere on August 11 in Canada and on August 12 in Australia.

“SEAL Team” is produced by CBS Studios and is executive produced by Spencer Hudnut, Christopher Chulack, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly and Mark Owen. David Boreanaz also serves as executive producer and director on the series. Paramount Global Content Distribution distributes the series worldwide.
