Following the lives of the elite unit of Navy SEALs as they carry out dangerous missions, the finale sees Hayes struggling to balance his heroic nature with the reality of being a single father. Meanwhile, for Ray Perry (Brown Jr.), Jason’s second-in-command, there are questions about whether he can leave the battlefield as retirement approaches.

For Sonny Quinn (Buckley), he will have to deal with changes due to Jason and Ray’s shifting focus. For their part, Omar Hamza (Barsoumian) and Drew Franklin (Knapp) throw themselves into their work as a way to forget past traumas. All of this comes to a head when Lieutenant Lisa Davis (Trucks), a serious officer, takes the team into a new era of warfare against powerful opponents. She is crucial to the team’s success as they are separated from their loved ones because of their work. But throughout, the team remains ready to do what the job requires.

SEAL Team is produced by CBS Studios and executive produced by Spencer Hudnut, Christopher Chulack, Boreanaz, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly and Mark Owen. The series is being distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The final season of SEAL Team has been confirmed for November 2023, with star and producer Boreanaz saying in a statement: “Every day is a thank you to the men and women of the military and Special Forces. I thank our fans and I am proud that we were able to make this show shine a light in the darkness towards so much suffering today. I look forward to season seven and the opportunity to end this series with love and gratitude.”
