SEAL Team Season 7 to Begin Filming in Los Angeles in December
Filming for Season 7 of ‘SEAL Team’ will begin in Los Angeles in December. It was announced that Season 7 would mark the end of the show. Unfortunately for fans, a film that was planned to serve as the grand finale has also been canceled. Created by Benjamin Cavell, the plot revolves around Bravo Team, a specialized unit within the United States Navy Special Warfare Development Group, the most elite faction of the Navy SEALs. The series delves into the meticulous planning and execution of dangerous missions around the world, often on short notice, and explores the challenges faced by both the team members and their families.
‘SEAL Team’ concludes its sixth season with a daring escape, an emotional visit to Clay’s grave, celebratory moments at Bulkhead, and a medal ceremony that sets the stage for a surprising twist. Faced with danger after their journey was shot down by a missile, Bravo Team overcame challenges to rescue their trapped teammates. They then shared emotional goodbyes at Clay’s grave, revealing the circumstances of his death. A Bulkhead gathering reflected on Clay’s impact, with Sonny grappling with grief. Mandy shared vital intelligence about the Mali mission, prompting Sonny to seek justice. The season finale featured Jason’s Navy Seals, which ended with a powerful revelation about the team’s shared struggles, setting the stage for a new fight against the military’s indifference to mental health issues. The ending credits initially hinted at a dark turn but ultimately revealed new strength and resilience among the team. While specifics for Season 7 have yet to be revealed, Season 6 has already confirmed that the lives of the Bravo Team members and their families will undergo profound changes. With a team that includes several veterans contributing and advising the show, ‘SEAL Team’ continues to face many issues, courageously tackling topics such as PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, and the woefully high suicide rate among service members and veterans.
The main cast is David Boreanaz, along with Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks, and Raffi Barsoumian. Produced by CBS Studios, ‘SEAL Team’ boasts executive producers such as Hudnut, Chulack, Boreanaz, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, and Mark Owen. Paramount Global Content Distribution handles distribution of the series.
Consisting of 10 episodes, mirroring the structure of Season 6, Season 7 began production in early December. It is scheduled for release on Paramount+ in 2024, although an exact date has yet to be confirmed. With Season 6 filming in May and a release the following September, it is likely that Season 7 will premiere in the spring. Long considered the epicenter of Hollywood productions, Los Angeles continues to maintain its prominence, as evidenced by notable releases like David Fincher’s ‘The Killer’ and ‘The Marvels’ that have emerged from the area this year.
