SEAL Team season 7 release date: When does the final season start?
SEAL Team is coming to an end on Paramount+ with the final season of the 10-episode military drama. Jason Hayes star David Boreanaz has opened up about how he’s ready for the series to end.
“I’ve expressed my desire to not do the show anymore,” he told TV Insider. “I was done regardless of whether they wanted to do two more seasons or one more season, I was done. Then the writers’ strike happened and six months later, it was decided.”
David directed one of the final episodes and said he was incredibly proud, adding: “Yeah, it was a very powerful episode. I’m so happy to be able to do something with such intensity.” And I’m excited to see Jason Hayes, maybe a flag draped over his coffin at the end of the series. You never know.” Sunday, August 11, will see the first two episodes of SEAL Team season 7 debut exclusively on Paramount Plus in the US and Canada. The series will then debut on Monday, August 12 in Australia. A new episode will air every Sunday following the two-episode debut. Similar to most streaming services, Paramount Plus releases new shows at midnight Pacific Time (PT) and 3am Eastern Time (ET). Paramount Plus subscribers. For those in the US, the Paramount Plus Essential package or Paramount Plus with Showtime package will provide access to episodes as they air for the season, but the series is usually available to watch on Sky Max. Filmed in Los Angeles and in Colombia, the final episodes feature Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley (Sonny Quinn) and Toni Trucks (Lisa Davis) as returning characters.
A new character Beau Knapp will also be introduced as Drew Franklin, a senior officer with a checkered past.
The synopsis for the final season reads: “Jason Hayes struggles to balance his life as a soldier with his responsibilities as a single father. “Ray Perry, his trusted second-in-command, wonders if he can leave the battlefield as he nears retirement.
“Dedicated doorman Sonny Quinn battles the changing tides as Jason and Ray’s shifting focus means other teammates must shoulder more responsibility.”
The post continues: “Separated from their loved ones at the drop of a hat for a global deployment, the Bravo team remains dedicated to their mission. Even in the face of enormous hardship, they know it is the price they must pay to keep the families they left behind safe.”
