SEAL Team Season 5: Jason’s Exit ‘Sealed’ as Fans Spot Worrying Health Clues
As Bravo Team Special Operations Commander, Jason Hayes (played by David Boreanaz) plays a key role in CBS’s SEAL Team. However, with an underlying health issue discovered, fans are worried that this could lead to Jason leaving SEAL Team.

The military drama follows members of the Navy SEAL Team as they risk their lives on dangerous missions around the world.

In season four, fans saw the lovable Jason suffering from severe headaches.

Viewers took to Reddit to speculate what this could mean for Jason.

One fan predicted that this could lead to Jason leaving in the upcoming season five.
Another commenter agreed, writing, “I was wondering that too, it reminds me of the injury that Clay and Swanny were trying to get more recognition for in Season 2.”

The injury this viewer was referring to was Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). While recovering from a physical injury from a previous mission, Marine Brett ‘Swanny’ Swan (Tony Curran) suspected he had a TBI.

After experiencing headaches, memory loss, and terrifying flashbacks, Swanny went to the VA hospital with Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot), hoping to get to the bottom of the problem.

He believed he had a TBI due to his role in the field and being hit by an explosive device on a previous mission.

However, after being scheduled for an appointment, Swanny was told that the doctor was not allowed to perform the tests.

In episode 19 of the second season, fans saw a mentally weakened Swanny take his own life with a gunshot, only to be discovered by his friend Clay.

Given the severity of his condition, SEAL Team fans are certain that if Jason also suffered a TBI, it could have been the cause of his escape.

“I feel like Jason will leave Bravo and become a trainer at BUD/S instead, but his head injury will definitely be a plot point,” one said. “I wouldn’t be too shocked if he died from it once he started to feel comfortable in a new role outside of Bravo 1.”

However, another fan commented in disagreement: “No, I don’t think Jason will die at most, he will leave the team in the series finale, without him the show wouldn’t be the same, Bravo wouldn’t be the same.”

Fans will have to wait until the highly anticipated fifth season to find out if these theories are true.
