SEAL Team AJ Buckley Shares Brand New Location in First Look for Season 6
Season five of SEAL Team has been just as popular since the military action series moved from CBS to Paramount+. Now that David Boreanaz and the cast are back on set for season six, a new update from lead actor AJ Buckley on Instagram has given fans some more insight into Bravo Team’s upcoming missions.
Jason Hayes (played by Boreanaz) and the team will likely spend the majority of SEAL Team’s time next season in Jordan.
Bravo Team has been rumored to be spending a lot of time in the Middle East when they return to the screen.
With a new Instagram Story from AJ, who plays Sonny Quinn, viewers now know at least one of the countries they’ll be visiting in season six.
In his latest post, AJ revealed a selfie of himself wearing a sensible shirt and baseball cap, captioned ‘My desert outfit’.
He added an emoji of the Jordanian flag, seemingly confirming the cast will be flying out to film on location soon.
SEAL Team’s international production could bode well for the series’ future on Paramount+, as getting the cast and crew out would require some significant budgetary requirements to pull off.
Thankfully, the streaming service seems to be fully behind the former CBS hit, as they’ve also greenlit a feature film based on the series that’s set to enter development soon.
Based on AJ’s recent posts, the cast is currently filming interior scenes in Los Angeles before they head off to their next Bravo assignment.
He recently posted a story where he was carrying his gear on the set of the show, so it may still be a while before they can start filming in Jordan.
Meanwhile, his co-star David recently promised big things for the next season with his recent reminiscences of his time on SEAL Team in the first season.
“Bravo 1 is ready to go. TBT to season one!” he wrote.
“What an amazing ride. Season six is going to be even better!”
In the season finale, David and his teammates were caught in a horrific ambush and hit by enemy missiles.
Several Marines could be seriously injured, and viewers may even have to say goodbye to some of their favorite characters for good.
Luckily, both David and AJ have confirmed that they will be returning as Jason and Sonny via their social media updates.
It will certainly be shocking to see SEAL Team’s most prominent characters meet a violent end, although there may be some surprises on the other side of the suspense.
Meanwhile, CBS has accidentally confirmed that Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot) will be alive when season six begins.
He’ll be starring in the new show Fire Country with Lucifer’s Kevin Alejandro, but the network has revealed that his SEAL Team duties will not be affected by his time on the upcoming series.
