It’s been a long wait for NCIS fans, but as season 23 continued on CBS and Paramount+ on Tuesday, viewers hailed the return as “one of the best” episodes yet.
The tenth episode of the season, titled ‘Her’, landed on screens nearly three months after episode nine. But it proved well worth the wait for viewers, who were treated to the much-anticipated return of former Special Agent Eleanor Bishop, played by Emily Wickersham.
When speaking exclusively to HELLO!, Dr. Jimmy Palmer actor Brian Dietzen teased: “The episode that we come back to focuses much more, deservedly so, on [Special Agent Nick Torres] and his journey with Bishop.

What happens in NCIS season 23?
After the break, season 23 picks up following the cliffhanger that saw Special Agent Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) assigned to a brand new NCIS: Elite target.
According to the CBS synopsis: “On her first NCIS: Elite mission, Knight is ordered to hunt down Eleanor Bishop after she’s designated a wanted cyber-terrorist. Bishop turns to Torres for help.”
