Is a giggle fit considered a medical emergency? If so, it’s a good thing we’ve got first responders around.
TVLine has an exclusive first look at the 9-1-1 cast’s appearance on the Sept. 16 episode of Celebrity Family Feud (ABC, 8/7c), including a particularly off-the-rails moment courtesy of Ryan Guzman. Oh, and if you have any interest in watching Oliver Stark use his British accent to describe himself as an animal in bed, this clip’s definitely for you.
In addition to Guzman (Eddie) and Stark (Buck), Team 9-1-1 includes Aisha Hinds (Hen), Tracie Thoms (Karen) and Bryan Safi (Josh). They’re facing off against Team Jury Duty, which features cast members Edy Modica, Susan Berger, David Brown, Maria Russell, Cassandra Blair and Donald Gladde
9-1-1 returns to ABC for its eighth season on Thursday, Sept. 26 (8 pm) with the first of a three-part premiere in which 22 million bees are accidentally released in Los Angeles, leading to a phenomenon Buck coins a “bee-nado.”
Here’s what else we can look forward to in Season 8, courtesy of our chat with showrunner Tim Minear: Eddie grows a mustache, which turns out to be a “manifestation of something that’s going on within him”; Buck is still going strong with Tommy, though he’s struggling more than others to take orders from Gerrard as the 118’s new captain; Bobby becomes the technical advisor on a “ridiculous firefighter show”; Hen and Karen continue to fight to get their foster care license reinstated while Maddie and Chimney consider growing their own family; and Athena’s life becomes even more complicated when a familiar face from her past returns.
