Romance and Drama Start to Heat Up for Joan on Next Week’s ‘Golden Bachelorette’

Just getting started!

Joan Vassos’ journey to find love on “The Golden Bachelorette” has finally begun and her season is underway.

This week, Joan and her men got to let their inner kids out during a fun prom group date and a one-on-one date to Disneyland, which was a series first.

After a week of fun-filled dates and heartfelt moments, fans are already excited for what’s to come next week on her season.

At the end of this week’s episode, we got a sneak peek at what to expect, with a competitive kickball group date and Pascal and Jonathan enjoying some romantic one-on-one dates.

Joan is heard saying, “Pascal makes me feel young and kind of sexy. He has a zest for life. I’m actually on top of the world right now. I’m already forming strong feelings for some of these men.”

Pascal and Joan ride in a red Porsche to a private jet and are seen kissing on top of a Ferris wheel.

Pascal is heard saying, “This is a fairy tale. How can you not fall in love?”

And he’s not the only one romance is heating up with!

Joan shares tender moments with Chock, Guy, and Jonathan, and one of the men is heard saying, “Looking into her eyes, I felt that soul connection.”

Joan then says, “I haven’t had these feelings since my husband.”

But just as things seemed to be going well, drama forms as Joan begins to develop some doubts.

She tells the men, “People keep asking me, ‘Are you 100% ready to have love in your life?’ But I feel like I’m not, really, because John was a huge part of my life.”

Joan tells the guys she’s sorry as she starts to break down and cry, and Gil tells one of the other men, “She probably wants to walk away.”

Former Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner makes an appearance, and drama continues to heat up as he asks Joan, “Have you considered the possibility that your guy is not here?”

Check out the full teaser above and make sure to tune in to “The Golden Bachelorette” next Wednesday at 8 p.m. on ABC to see how it all unfolds!
