Ralph Kramden Gets a Baby in a Never-Before-Seen Clip from The Honeymooners’ 1966 Musical Episode

Although The Honeymooners’ run only lasted 39 half-hour episodes (often referred to as the “Classic 39”), it made an indelible mark on the television landscape. One of the first series of its kind to feature (what felt like) real married couples that worked hard, argued, and lived non-idyllic lives, The Honeymooners paved the way for modern sitcoms and its influence is still seen in shows on the air today. Starring Jackie Gleason, Audrey Meadows, Art Carney, and Joyce Randolph, The Honeymooners is still one of the funniest shows ever created and the brand new Blu-ray release is an absolute must-have for  TV fans.

Parade is excited to premiere this exclusive bonus features clip from the Honeymooners: Classic 39 EpisodesBlu-ray (which hits stores today). The clip features Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) and Ed Norton (Art Carney) having a funny chat before they receive their mail and Ralph finds out that he’s getting a baby. It comes from The Honeymooners: The Adoption, which is a never-before-released, hour-long musical from 1966 that’s included on this new Blu-ray release.
