We’re going to be honest, 9-1-1 Season 8 has released very little in the way of new footage, and yet what we’ve seen kinda looks like our worst nightmare. Take us back to the tsunami, please. We’ll take that over a bee-nado. We’ll take that over bees in general, but a bee-nado? What even is that? We understand that when 9-1-1 goes hard, it really goes hard, but this feels like going way too hard.
Also, did we need to know that thing about the 500 bee stings in the first teaser? We didn’t! Or I mean, we probably did because we’re sure someone (or maybe more than one someone) is going to get stung and that’s information that’s going to end up being crucial, but on the other hand we kinda don’t want it to be. We still have like a month to go. We don’t want to worry for a month.
So yes, the first two teasers for 9-1-1 Season 8 are basically just bees. This is on par for the course, the teasers are typically about the big disaster. But the first trailer? That has actual footage, not just Eddie serving face in his stache.
So, here they all are. First, bees:
And okay, the second one is even crueler, because bringing the Santa Monica pier into it? It’s been seasons, and it still feels like it’s too soon, okay? Okay.
And here’s the one with actual footager
The show also released three posters for the new season, which you can check out below. Warning, it’s just more bees!
On a scale of 1 to 100, who are we most worried about? Linda, who we know is allergic to bees? Buck, who has the worst luck and actually said the words bee-nado? Eddie, who has a pornstache? Drop your guesses below!
9-1-1 Season 8 premieres on September 26th on ABC.
