CBS is unveiling a first look at their upcoming spinoff Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, with Raegan Revord returning as Missy, the younger sister of Georgie (Montana Jordan).
In the second episode of the debut season, titled “Some New York Nonsense,” which is set to air on Thursday, October 24th, Georgie faces difficulties in balancing his life, work, and family. His challenges increase when Missy gets into trouble at school, prompting Georgie to intervene and resolve the issue.
As he feels overwhelmed, Mandy (Emily Osment) grows concerned for his well-being. The newly released photos for the episode depict Georgie experiencing significant stress. The images also showcase other characters, including Mandy’s brother Conner (Dougie Baldwin), tire shop employee Ruben (Jessie Prez), and Mandy’s parents, Audrey (Rachel Bay Jones) and Jim (Will Sasso).
Following the death of his father, George Sr. (Lance Barber), in Young Sheldon, Georgie seems to be stepping into the role of family patriarch. However, it raises the question of whether he can manage this new responsibility. Fans will have to watch to discover the outcome. Before this episode airs, viewers can catch the premiere episode titled “The 6:10 to Lubbock,” scheduled for Thursday, October 17th.
