Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Pascal Ibgui on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelorette.”
While he didn’t find love on-screen with Joan, he’s been keeping us updated with his life on social media.
This week, he stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour” podcast, where he got candid about his dating life.
Hosts Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles asked Pascal about the rumors that he “likes to date much younger women” that have been swirling around social media.
Pascal said he wanted to clear the air, sharing, “That is absolutely wrong. I think sometimes my language barrier makes me say words and then when I look back at it, I say, ‘What did I say?’ I said that I don’t go out with 72-year-old women; that’s not what I mean. That’s not what I’m trying to say. I want to go out with an age-appropriate woman. I don’t go out with anyone under 50 or 55. I want to set the record straight. I don’t go out with young women.”
The “Golden Bachelorette” star shared that most of the DMs he gets are from younger women, but he ignores them.
He explained, “I will not go out with anyone under 50. I will date people 55, 50, 65, it depends on the person. You can be a 65-year-old woman who knows how to take care of themselves and is into health and fitness. I have no problem with age; they just have to be age-appropriate. So again, to set the record straight, I do not go out with young women.”
