One Chicago is in a crucial period. The franchise took most of March off, and has been part of NBC’s Wednesday night lineup intermittently throughout April. Furthermore, the network has yet to put out renewals for any of the three shows, despite the fact that they are nearing the end of the 2024-2025 season.
Well, we may not have renewals in hand yet, but we do have new episodes. Finally. Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago Pd return Wednesday, April 16 with some of the most notable and tense episodes of their respective seasons. Med will provide a slate of tense cases for its doctors. Hannah Asher (Jessy Schram) will be forced to make a decision that could cost her patient their life, while her ex-boyfriend, Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell), returns to Gaffney after a lengthy hiatus.
