Simone Biles’s life has been very busy lately, and this month is a lot busier than others for the gymnast. She started her month by posting a few pictures from her long-overdue honeymoon in South Africa. This was followed by her getting nominated for Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year. And then she mesmerized her fans with her stunning pictures from her all-girls trip to the Bahamas. Next came her twenty-eighth birthday, which the GOAT celebrated in true cowboy Texan style with a ‘Twenty ATE’ cake. And when we thought she was done, she topped it all with a trip to LSU to surprise her friend Zoe Miller. So it’s a no-brainer that she wasn’t going to wrap up March just like that! Simone Biles did find a perfect way to end her month! But what is it?
Biles uploaded a story to her Instagram on March 29, with the caption “my hot date this morning,” flaunting her morning date. Well, it’s child’s play to guess who she was on a date with! Yes, it was none other than her husband, Jonathan Owens. Donning a black hoodie with a visible dainty ring, a watch, and what looked like a bracelet, the Chicago Bears’ safety was out on a date with his wife in what looked like a restaurant. Well, Simone Biles wasn’t visible in the picture, and it was all about an NFL player. 2 years into marriage, and the couple still goes on dates like they are still in the dating era. Who says love fades?
Also, it wasn’t their first date! So if we go by counting, it must be…well, too difficult to keep up with the count, so let’s just say it was their nth date. Do you remember January 10? not for the winters but for the NFL safety and the 11-time Olympic medalist courtside date at the NBA match. It must have been the only time the New York Knicks cheered in their 126-101 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The crowd erupted in applause as the two appeared on the big screen and kissed.
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens went for another date in January, and this time, they were joined by British-American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson. The trio enjoyed drinks and laughs. Biles was present at Vtex Connect in New York just a day later. Owens accompanied her, and the gymnast made a post on Instagram writing, “Bring bae to work. @jowens.” Owens wore his dashing gray suit and a black turtleneck. Biles complemented him with her black turtleneck and silver chain.

Who could be the emotional support and companion through all of her ups and downs for the gymnast with 41 world and Olympic medals? Simone Biles, most of the time, is licked to happiness by her fur family: three French Bulldogs, Lilo, Rambo, and Zeus. Well, Rambo made it to her Instagram story this Saturday, interestingly before Owens did.
In the picture shared over the story, Rambo can be seen dozing off on the mat, right in front of the shoe rack, and Biles wrote, “hims sooooo cute with his little tongue out.” Biles’ dogs have their own Instagram account as well. It goes by the name of thebilesfrenchies, where they are termed “texas living trouble makers.”
The GOAT of gymnastics has a special bond with her dogs. She once said, “I got Lilo and Rambo for emotional support and to be a companion through all of my ups and downs.” Even when she was away from them during the Paris Olympics, she almost had a dog by her side. We are well aware of Biles’ struggles with her mental health, and so to help her overcome this, Team USA was sent an official therapy dog. A golden retriever named Beacon. Unfortunately, due to logistical issues, he could not make it to Paris, but this was a great initiative from Team USA, don’t you think?
