The five remaining Next Level Chef contestants entered the semi-finals, where they were tasked with putting a twist on a classic: recreating Gordon Ramsay’s signature Beef Wellington… without beef.
When the night began, Richard Blais had three remaining team members, so he was guaranteed a spot in the finale, while Gordon and Nyesha Arrington each only had one. Richard has yet to win the competition.

Last week’s results determine who is cooking where. Bobby Hicks and Brandon Rogers were the top dishes last week, so they were in the top-level kitchen, mentored by Nyesha. Beatrice Heirigs and Austin Beckett cooked their way into the middle level kitchen, mentored by Gordon, which left Megan Keno in the bottom, mentored by Richard.
Brandon was the holder of the Time Token. He opted to take 10 seconds from Beatrice, who he saw as his biggest competitor.
“I would love to see three blues in the finale,” he said referring to the color of his team’s aprons. “If you mess with one of the Trailblazers, you mess with all three of us.” Brandon was referring to the fact that Beatrice had previously taken 10 seconds away from his teammate Austin when she held the token.
“I am positive of my ability to have a good grab regardless,” Beatrice said. “I’m going to kick his a$$. Quite frankly, it’s not going to help any of their team because I’m going to beat them out.”

The remaining three chefs – Megan, Brandon and Bobby were tasked with cooking a Michelin-Star level dish under the supervision of Gordon Ramsay.
The chefs who were eliminated were Brandon and Bobby, meaning Megan would be joining Austin and Beatrice in the finale, giving Richard Blais two shots at winning.
“Oh, my God,” Megan said. “Words are kind of hard right now. To be seen not just as a home chef but as someone who can stand up with the professionals, I am so proud of myself for every step I have taken.”
