“New Move: Grace Replaced in New 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 5 Promo”
The next time someone calls for help on 9-1-1: Lone Star, they’ll hear an unexpected (but familiar) voice on the other end of the line.
A new promo for Fox’s upcoming fifth (and possibly final) season includes footage of Judd’s son, Wyatt, working as a new dispatcher, a job that has been held by Judd’s wife, Grace, since the series premiered in 2020. But with Sierra McClain not returning to Seas, Wyatt, played by Jackson Pace, was previously on track to join his estranged father in the field, but a near-fatal accident forced him to put his firefighter aspirations on hold. The penultimate episode of Season 4 saw Wyatt undergo spinal surgery after a cycling accident left him with swelling in his brain and multiple broken vertebrae.
And that’s not the only major career change fans can expect in Season 5. As previously revealed, Judd will be stepping down (at least temporarily) from the 126, leaving Paul and Marjan to compete for the captain’s position. Behind-the-scenes photos released by the cast and crew also suggest that Carlos will be following in his late father’s footsteps by becoming a Texas Ranger.
