Netflix Teases Bridgerton Season 4: Enigmatic Poster Sets the Stage for Trailer Frenzy md17

Bridgerton’s cast includes Julie Andrews, Lorraine Ashbourne, Jonathan Bailey, Harriet Cains, Bessie Carter and many more. The series earned an 87% score on Rotten Tomatoes for its first season, though it dropped to 78% for season 2 before rebounding back to 87% for the third season, which was released in June 2024.

A poster teasing Bridgerton season 4 was just released by Netflix on X, featuring Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha. In the poster, her back is facing the camera as she holds her mask from the masquerade ball.

The caption says: “A masquerade is like no other event. Prepare yourselves, for anything can happen,” and adds that Bridgerton season 4 will be premiering in 2026. Check out the post below:

What The New Poster Means For Bridgerton Season 4

Netflix releasing a poster for Bridgerton season 4 means that a trailer will likely drop in the coming days, giving fans another sneak peek at what to expect from the next installment, along with a specific 2026 release date.

Netflix shared a behind-the-scenes production video back in February 2025 and then a one-minute teaser in May. However, a full-length trailer hasn’t been released just yet. It appears that’s all about to change.

Several new cast members are joining Bridgerton for the 2026 season, including Ha, Katie Leung, Michelle Mao, Emma Naomi, Hugh Sachs, and Isabella Wei, with Masali Baduza coming back as a series regular after being a guest star in season 3.

Ha’s character, Sophie Baek, is Benedict Bridgerton’s love interest in season 4, as the story centers around this new romance.

The teaser video from May showed Sophie catching Benedict’s attention at the masquerade ball. Sophie was only seen in the distance in that video, but the newly released poster shows her dress and mask up close without revealing her face, adding to the mystery of the story.

A premiere date will likely be announced alongside the trailer. A trailer for Bridgerton season 3 was released about a month ahead of its premiere on Netflix. Based on that timeframe, Bridgerton season 4 could theoretically drop in fall 2025. However, Netflix has already announced a 2026 release, so a January or February premiere seems more realistic.

Anticipation is always sky-high leading into a new season of Bridgerton. The 2024 installment was one of Netflix’s most-viewed shows all year. Fans just can’t get enough of Bridgerton, and it would not be surprising at all if the fourth season reaches similarly impressive numbers in 2026.

With a trailer expected any day now, the hype for Bridgerton season 4 is only just beginning and will certainly grow immensely in the coming weeks and months. If the new season is released in early 2026, then fans will have something exciting to look forward to after the holiday season ends.
