Netflix is officially welcoming Virgin River back in 2026. According to Deadline, Season 7 of the romantic drama premieres March 12, marking the long-awaited return of Mel and Jack after more than a year off screens.
Starring Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson, the series continues to follow nurse practitioner Mel Monroe and bar owner Jack Sheridan as they navigate love, loss, and small-town life in Northern California. The expansive ensemble — including Colin Lawrence, Annette O’Toole, Tim Matheson, Lauren Hammersley, Ben Hollingsworth, Zibby Allen, and more — will return, alongside new recurring cast members Sara Canning and Cody Kearsley. Austin Nichols is also rumored to appear.
Already renewed for Season 8, Virgin River remains one of Netflix’s biggest ongoing hits. Newly released Season 7 images tease fresh mystery, including the reveal of an unidentified woman seen only from behind — hinting at new storylines ahead.
