Several actors from the NCIS franchise have sadly passed away since appearing on the long-running CBS series.
Miguel Ferrer
Miguel Ferrer portrayed Assistant Director Owen Granger on NCIS: Los Angeles for seven seasons. A familiar face from Crossing Jordan and RoboCop, Ferrer continued working on the show even after being diagnosed with throat cancer, which was later written into his character’s storyline. He passed away in January 2017 at age 61, and was remembered with heartfelt tributes, including one from his cousin, George Clooney.
Ravil Isyanov
Russian-born actor Ravil Isyanov appeared on NCIS: Los Angeles as mobster Anatoli Kirkin from 2013 until his death. He passed away in September 2021 at the age of 59 after a battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of memorable television roles.
